Our History

1978

Edmo invests in first factory

Edmo Limited was established as a specialist in aluminium extrusion, quickly building a reputation for quality and precision in UK manufacturing.

1985

Expansion into Fabrication

The company added fabrication services, enabling it to offer more complete aluminium solutions beyond basic extrusion.

1995

First Aerospace Contracts

Edmo began supplying aerospace engineering projects, marking entry into high-specification, regulated industries requiring stringent quality standards.

2005

Launch of Surface Finishing Services

Edmo introduced anodising and powder coating, providing enhanced durability, corrosion resistance, and aesthetic finishes for aluminium products.

2018

Turnkey Solutions and Sector Diversification

Celebrating 40 years, Edmo evolved into a turnkey solutions provider, supporting multiple sectors including defence, accessibility, automotive, and construction, with complete project management from design to delivery.

2022

AMEG Acquires Edmo

EDMO, joins the Amari Metals Engineering Group (AMEG). This is a significant development that offers enhanced aluminum services and sector expertise to the Amari Group, while also strengthening EDMO's network and stability
