What is aluminium die casting?

Aluminium die casting is a fast, efficient casting process that is ideal for manufacturing high volumes of aluminium components.

The process of aluminium die casting involves pouring molten metal into a mould (or ‘die’), where the metal cools and hardens to form the shape in which it has filled. Once cooled sufficiently, the die can be opened to enable further fabrication, or finishing and assembly of the cast components, depending on design specifications.

Equipped with state-of-the-art machining technology and CAD/prototyping expertise, Edmo are expertly positioned to design and produce bespoke moulds and dies for your cast component requirements.
