Recycling and waste management
All of the processes and operations at Edmo are fully compliant with the latest recycling and waste management legislation.
Energy efficient lighting systems
We’ve installed low-energy LED lighting throughout our locations, helping to shrink our carbon footprint and reduce the need for replacement bulbs.
Low-energy compressors
We’ve invested in energy efficient air compressors, and now follow guidelines for their low energy use as recommended by the Carbon Trust.
Energy efficient ovens
Our powder-coating plant minimises energy use with low-energy ovens, with super efficient thermal design, and high volume, low pressure circulation systems.
Energy efficient pre-treatment tanks
We’ve replaced our old pre-treatment tanks with new, more energy-efficient models in a bid to reduce our carbon footprint even further.
Remote collaboration
To prevent unnecessary journeys, we use remote collaboration throughout our operations, helping to keep our carbon output as low as possible.
Intelligent fleet management
Our transport department plans and consolidates our routes, preventing unnecessary travel, and maximising the efficiency of our fully tracked fleet.
Satellite depot
We import metal to the West Midlands. Our satellite branch in Wednesbury means shorter journeys between us and our customers right across the UK.
